One of our main objective from the onset was to create an opportunity for women in this space to support and encourage each other.
As a group, WIB unites people with a passion for technology and collaboration in architecture, engineering and construction. As a result, the Mentor Scheme was set up as a natural progression of our core values and objectives of diversity and inclusion, and always striving to integrate and nurture the talent and capabilities of women in BIM and digital related roles.
At WIB our aim is to inspire collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and skills, in order to promote the development of more women and people of minority genders in the world of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital processes and applications relative to the built environment.

As part of your mentoring we recommend you complete a Record Sheet after each session. We use this information to observe the relationship development and as basis for further development in the program.
New for the WIB Mentor Scheme 2024 is the “Mentor’s Mentor”. This is a new initiative for all Mentors to gain knowledge, experience and advice from previous and experienced WIB Mentors. They will offer support and guidance and discuss with you the skills needed to be an effective Mentor.
All conversations are strictly confidential.
