Women in BIM (WIB) is excited to announce a new partnership with Morta, the information hub that connects teams, systems and agents across the built environment. Through this collaboration, Morta becomes a WIB sponsor with a difference — providing every WIB Member with access to tools, training and platforms designed to empower them as Digital Builders.
The Digital Builders Sponsorship Package goes beyond traditional sponsorship by offering:
- 1 year credits: Every WIB Member will receive credits for one year of subscription to Morta’s advanced licenses, enabling them to automate and digitise processes such as information delivery planning and tracking, information requirements specification, COBie assurance, and 100s of other processes.
- Access to the Morta Academy: WIB Members will gain entry to exclusive training on building digital solutions — covering sustainability, risk and safety management, database design, systems thinking and automation — with certificates of completion.
- Digital Builder Spotlight Series: A platform to celebrate WIB Members leading digital transformation, through conference sessions, LinkedIn Live interviews, blog features, newsletters and industry events.
Rebecca De Cicco, Founder and Global Chair of Women in BIM, said:
“This partnership with Morta reflects our commitment to equipping Women in BIM Members with not just a voice, but the tools and knowledge to shape the digital future of our industry. The Digital Builders program recognises and amplifies the innovators within our community, and we are delighted to see Morta step forward as a sponsor with such a Member-first approach.”
Mohammad Shana’a, Co-Founder and CEO of Morta, added:
“Our mission at Morta is to support builders in pushing the boundaries of digital delivery. Women in BIM Members are already leaders in this space, and through Digital Builders we want to make sure they have access to new technology, training and the visibility they need to continue driving change. Morta is already used on over £100 billion worth of projects, including the Ministry of Justice, Mott MacDonald, Kier and Mace, and we’re excited to extend this proven capability to the WIB community.”
The partnership launches in the Autumn of 2025, with Digital Builders content and benefits becoming available to WIB Members for the following 12 months.
