Women in BIM (WIB) is excited to reveal the full agenda for the 2026 Brisbane Conference, taking place on Thursday 12 March at Rivershed, Howard Smith Wharves.
Under the bold theme “Action: taking action for a better future for our people and our planet”, this one-day event brings together global thought-leaders, digital innovators and change-makers committed to driving tangible progress in the built environment.
The conference kicks off at 9:00am with a welcome from the conference Chair, followed by a powerful opening session on Enabling action through thought leadership, creativity and life experience with Rebecca De Cicco, WIB Founder & Global Chair.
A standout Keynote presentation from Hon Ros Bates MP, Queensland’s former Telstra Businesswoman of the Year and current Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training, will explore how leadership and policy intersect to enable more inclusive, sustainable futures.

- Jurisdictional policy across Australia around digital enablement, a panel moderated by Julie Jupp (University of Technology Sydney) addressing policy levers for innovation.
- Team Construction: Building the digital workforce for Brisbane 2032 and beyond, focusing on how we equip people with the skills needed to thrive.
- Digitally-driven health infrastructure and Mobilising digital: how TMR Is actioning BIM at scale, showcasing how organisations are applying digital tools for better outcomes.
- Building together: the power of allies in digital construction, with Eric Bugeja (buildingSMART Australasia), and a concluding panel on Transforming cultures – building futures for women in digital construction.
The conference agenda balances technical insight with broader conversations on culture, digital transformation and equity, supporting the theme of action that goes beyond words into measurable impact.
