Women in BIM (WIB) and buildingSMART International (bSI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on advancing digital innovation and inclusion in the built
environment.
This strategic partnership will drive the adoption and application of buildingSMART’s open digital
standards while fostering greater diversity and engagement in the industry. By working together, bSI
and WIB will support the execution of key initiatives to improve digital adoption, interoperability, and inclusivity within the built environment.
Through this collaboration, both organizations will commit resources, expertise and leadership to support the success of this partnership. The agreement outlines a shared vision for enhancing open digital workflows, harmonized schema validation, and standardized taxonomies that align with bSI’s mission to enable an open, interoperable and sustainable built environment.
