BIM4Water and Datum360 are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership that is set to revolutionise the way in which water utility companies and their supply chains use standard information requirements to manage and exchange crucial engineering information for asset delivery, operation and maintenance.

BIM4Water and Datum360 have signed an agreement that paves the way for a visionary collaboration serving the global water industry.

Using Datum360’s industry leading software platform, the initial focus is to allow water utility companies and their supply chain partners to collaborate on the creation of streamlined product data templates.

These templates will offer the potential to standardise information exchange processes, deliver product data as expected at key stages of a project, and establish required data formats to ensure interoperability.

Mark your calendars! We’re gearing up for the much-anticipated release in the second quarter of 2024. Get in touch for the latest news and regular updates.

Why is this Important?

  • Standardisation Across the Water Industry: The platform will establish a universal information requirement standard that enables consistent data exchange/interoperability in the water sector, fostering a seamless flow of information between stakeholders.
  • More Effective Asset Management: Allowing Owners & Operators to collate required data about their assets in a standardised way that is used consistently by other water companies and their supply chains.
  • Open Collaboration: Our vision extends beyond individual companies and sectors. We’re opening up avenues for collaboration across the entire water industry and leveraging other sector initiatives such as CFIHOS. Together, our efforts will drive innovation and efficiency to new heights.
  • Free Access For Water Companies: We believe in breaking barriers! Water utility companies can join this initiative free of charge, unlocking a realm of possibilities.
