This evening promises to be a valuable and inspiring experience for women in the industry. By coming together to network, share experiences, and learn from one another, attendees will leave feeling empowered and motivated to continue making a positive impact in the field. Whether you’re just starting your career in construction and BIM or have been in the industry for years, this event is a must-attend for women who want to connect, grow, and succeed.

Agenda for the night below,

5:30pm Opening and Welcome

5:40pm Nicole Tucker – “Unleash Your True Potential: Embracing Authenticity for Career Success”

As a woman in a STEM field, especially in the construction industry, it can often feel like one is expected to fit into a specific mold. However, it is important for women to embrace their authentic selves and not let societal expectations dictate how they should behave or present themselves in the workplace. By being true to oneself and bringing one’s unique qualities and experiences to the table, women can make a meaningful impact in their roles and drive innovation within their industry.

It may not always be easy to break away from the mold and chart a path that is true to oneself, especially in a male-dominated industry like construction. However, by persevering and staying true to one’s values and principles, women can not only succeed in their careers but also help to break down barriers and challenge gender stereotypes. Embracing authenticity and individuality can be a powerful tool in the pursuit of success and fulfilment in the STEM field, and in particular, the construction industry.
