The overarching theme for the Women in BIM Conferences is “envision”. Buildings account for almost a third of energy consumption worldwide, with the built environment accounting for 40% of global energy related carbon emissions. This means that the built environment sector has a critical role to play in responding to the climate emergency, and the deployment of our digital skills and expertise is needed to reverse rising carbon emissions.

At Women in BIM we bring together industry leaders, providing an opportunity not only for the exchange of dialogue, but to facilitate true collaboration to envision and drive change.

The Women in BIM Conference Edinburgh will take the shape of a one-day, live in-person conference. This will be a turning point for cultural, economic and sustainable change for our Members and the wider construction industry. Engage with other BIM and digital champions who share a passion for a digital future.

The conference is taking place at the InterContinental Edinburgh The George hotel, from 09:00 to 17:00 BST, followed by a drinks reception from 17:00 – 18:00 BST.

New for 2025, is the pre-conference Edinburgh Experience, when on Monday 7 July, there will be a Scavenger Hunt around the city, taking in its history, its beauty and some ghostly tales! Followed by networking drinks. Everyone with a ticket to the conference received automatic entry.
