After a series of successful senior roles in Architectural practices in both Australia and the UK, Rebecca gained her Masters in Construction Management and became a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB). Whilst in the UK Rebecca was involved in multiple voluntary initiatives across the Built Environment such as the BIM Task Group BIM 2050 team and regularly presented at industry events on BIM and the importance of the Government BIM Policy. She also regularly presents at Autodesk University and many other global conferences and acts as an Autodesk Expert Elite and thought leader in the BIM and technology space.
Rebecca has always had a passion for diversity in the built environment and founded the global community Women in BIM in 2012. This was a response to the growing need for more women in BIM as well as to address the wider global issues of inclusivity and equality across the construction industry. Now in its 14th year, WIB has now grown to over 2,000+ members across our channels, extending to women in six out of the seven continents and continues to grow its global reach with regional representatives positioned all over the world.
