AI SYSTEMS, RYDER ARCHITECTURE

Andrew Johnson

Andrew Johnson is runs AI Systems at Ryder Architecture where he leads AI and information management capability-building for the built environment.

His work helps AECO professionals move from AI awareness to practical, responsible use in project workflows, leadership decisions and organisational adoption.

Andrew works across frontier large language models rather than promoting a single platform. He focuses on the skills and judgement people need to use AI well: clear prompting, workflow integration, assurance, role change and evidence of value.

His AI work is structured around Okana’s AWARE, BRIEF and CHECK frameworks, covering literacy, leadership, adoption, and governance. He also applies human-centred design methods to make AI use cases practical before introducing tools. Andrew is working towards Claude Architect status, strengthening his practice in advanced AI use, prompt systems and applied capability development.
