Renee Jain is a licensed US architect with 13 years of experience in the AEC industry with projects from San Francisco to Singapore. Renee has always loved to see things get built. When starting her career in architecture and working towards licensure, Renee saw opportunities to use BIM for early design studies, project phasing and solving site issues during construction. Collaborating closely with project teams, she trialled and implemented new technology to improve communication and collaboration.

Inspired by BCA’s roadmap for BIM, Renee moved to Singapore 10 years ago to pursue BIM Management working with architectural firms to improve their BIM capabilities. Always learning, Renee has spearheaded and shared BIM knowledge with teams on significant Singapore projects – Singapore Institute of Technology’s New Punggol Campus, Singapore Expo Pavillion in Dubai, NS Square – sustainable developments such as Paya Lebar Green and Singtel Comcentre – most recently, Pinery Residences. In her current role at Straits Construction, she leads the digital technology strategy focused on adopting the right tools at the right time for the right purpose. Always inspired by a human perspective, Renee focuses on empowering all to use technology and deploying valuable tools for the industry.
