Gergana has been working in the Digital Engineering team at Laing O’Rourke for over six years, starting as a Graduate in 2014. Gergana joined the company after completing a Master’s degree in BIM & Integrated Design with distinction at the University of Salford.
As a Digital Engineer, Gergana has substantial experience in taking BIM processes from concept to implementation on various projects throughout the UK, supporting bids, pre-construction services, on-site delivery and handover.
In 2019 Gergana joined the Core Team of WIB with the ambition to translate her passion for diversity and equality into tangible outcomes for the community of women working in BIM and Digital Construction. Gergana’s main focus is on data gathering and analysis to inform our strategic planning around global growth through reaching more women in more regions of the world. Her responsibilities also include supporting the initiative in the UK and acting as an advocate for WIB events across the country.
